On our Way

All projects have been officially approved. The Partnership should be up within the next three weeks. I will send an email when that is finally in place.

We had our first official bathroom meetings last night. We spent two hours discussing fines for not coming to meetings. Instead of just saying be there at 7 or else we came to the conclusion that at 7:30 a 50 cent (6 cents US) fine goes into place and then if someone shows up after the minutes have been read than there is a 5 Boliviano fine. So though the meeting is scheduled to start at 7, people don't actually have to be there until 7:30.

We also talked about slightly more interesting topics such as construction parameters and we scheduled the first household visits where we will discuss the importance of bathroom use and hygiene. Should be a fun visit.
